Grand burger

If you want a taste of America, this is a good start. Grand burger has some of the best burgers in Kyoto: they’re big and delicious, and they come with fries and salad/​coleslaw. My only complaint is that the burger bun can get soggy pretty quickly.
The menu at Grand Burger is pretty big and you can choose to have cheese, avocado, and/​or bacon on top. The best thing to try is the «grand burger,» which includes all three toppings. Come hungry!
If you’re not a burger lover, you can still enjoy this place. The menu also boasts fish and chips, fried chicken and shrimp, pancakes, parfaits, and some other options.

Finally! After six months of passing through the road in front of this burger joint I was able to sit down and enjoy a nice meal here.
I was actually surprised to see that it wasn’t as crowded tonight, considering that it was a Saturday night. Not that I’m complaining though. They played really nice jazzy music and there were only two other tables that were occupied so we enjoyed our burgers and conversation without any noise interrupting.
We were tempted to order the dinner set which includes a side dish of your choice but we were smart enough to guess that the burgers will probably be filling enough; and it was. There was a good amount of fries/​potato wedges to go with our burgers plus a nice heap of coleslaw so it was a good satisfying portion.
Can’t say that this is the best burger in town because I haven’t yet to venture out to other burger joints but I will tell you that it was a very delicious meal.

I’ve lived in Kyoto for about 8 years. This is the best hamburger in Kyoto. Enough said.

Great burger! We had been traveling for some time and needed to eat a burger just once before going back to traditional Japanese food. This is a great spot– the meat is wonderfully seasoned and the buns are fresh. Really good!
