Coconut Dream

I had no idea gluten free sweets can be this delicious. I am not allergic to gluten; nor am I to soy, dairy, or refined sugar. Nevertheless, Coconut Dream has become one of my most favorite bakeries. None of their baked goods and sweets are contaminated by chemicals that our body cannot process.
I was also so impressed with the drink menu. None of them contains caffeine. The selections range from «coffee» that is made from toasted brown rice to mixed-​nut milk. Or if you prefer herbal teas, Coconut Dream got a variety of premium herbal teas.
This was my first time visiting this bakery. I am already planning to come back next year. I highly recommend the Strawberry Rosetta Cake. It was my favorite out of all the ones I’ve tried while Howie who came with me preferred his blueberry bar. We both really enjoyed the brown rice latte and coffee. Another friend of mine had a cookie and she even bought more to bring home for her son.
Although the store itself isn’t located in the city center, it is so worth the trip. If you live in Japan, they even deliver their baked good frozen… incredibly convenient.
I wish Netherlands has something like this. I wouldn’t have been feeling so guilty eating as many sweets as I do. If you are in the Tokyo area, check this bakery out. Yummy! Two thumbs up with a fully satisfied yummy. :-)
