You are not going to beat this place if you are in Kawaguchi looking for a good bowl of ramen. I would say it is the pound for pound champ in Kawaguchi!..

As my friend says–«If you’re gonna name your place Ramen Japan, it better be good!» It was really good! A friend recommended this Ramen spot in Kawaguchi. He showed me a pic of that huge bowl of ramen. I was sold. It’s about a 5 minute walk from Kawaguchi Station. This place seats 6 at the counter and another 4 at a back table. We waited 5 mins for some seats. Not too bad. We sat at the counter. Always nice to see how your food is being prepared. Like most ramen places you order and pay at the ticket machine. A regular sized bowl of ramen is ¥700. The extras are ¥100– extra pork, egg and other toppings. My friend pretty much ordered extra everything for me(See pic for size comparison). The ramen was great! Nice & strong pork broth. Not too salty. I like the Thick noodles. Generous portions of pork slices, bean sprouts. Many ramen places give you a thin slice of pork with a lot of fat. Ramen Japan gives you a nice, thick slice of pork. Love the hard boiled egg. Even the heavy garlic was a nice touch. Just glad i didn’t have any meetings or a date right after. This place lives up to the name«Japan». Why? Because Japan(the country) is a great place to eat and enjoy life. Ramen Japan meets that standard. I enjoyed my meal and experience. I’ll be back soon.
