One thing you will notice in Tokyo is that there are restaurants on top of restaurants and underneath them too. My wife wanted to try something other than sushi and salaryman noodle bowls so when we walked by this restaurant which is in the basement we were a bit apprehensive. Why? because by being in a basement you think otherwise. This wonderful find is located near the Courtyard marriott Ginza beside the Tulleys Coffee. They have a display at street level to entice you fruther. We decided to just go with the chefs special and let them serve up octopus, wagu beef, foie gras(try eating that with chopsticks) and fresh vegetables and just have to choose which beers we were drinking. Its a wonderful wram and inviting space and very attentive service(and they speak some english as well) and they were enjoyed to converse with us and learn more about my country as we learned more about their lives while enjoying a wonderful meal. Ginza is a more expensive area and the restaurant prices match the concept accordingly but the return is in a better dining experience. The tab came out to about 140,00 yen which was well worth it. Please note that they are not open for lunch
