A great deal if you are looking for delicious food near the city center but don’t want to get ripped off by touristy restaurants. They have a lot of outside tables outside but unfortunately right on the street and not always quiet and cozy. The prices are average, but as I said, it’s not far from the tourist spots. The Quattro Formaggi pizza was delicious. The tomato sauce was somehow different, I think they just mashed fresh tomatoes and didn’t overdo it with herbs and spices. They also serve rollata pizza, which is a bit like a calzone and worth a try.

Just what I was looking for! Non-touristy and a delicious lunch in Verona. My mom and I shared the Crespelle ai Porcini e Tarfuto, which is a crêpe with mushrooms and truffle. I highly recommend trying this! It’s really good, almost too good for words. We also shared a specialty pizza, Cappriciosa. Very fresh and full of flavor. When I looked around there were a lot people having a salad bowl which made me want one too… Their salads are huge! When the weather is nice, sit outside and soak up the sunshine :) Oh and also enjoy your meal with an Aperol. Never too early for a drink. The waitress was really friendly too!

While wondering through Verona, we were actually looking for some other place to eat. Unfortunately, after quite some time, we could not find the place we were looking for and walked by this place. It looks very modern and the menu on the outside of the place is on a large touch screen. Although I do like touchscreens, for the menu it did not work that well. So we went inside to check out a paper menu and we did like what we saw, so we were seated on a table, next to another couple(They have two-person tables, but they are linked so that they can place food on that part). The couple next to us just got their food and they ordered a 50 cm pizza. It looked delicious, so we asked them which one it was and decided to try the same: Good choice that was :) While we were eating, the place got busier and busier, so I guess it is pretty popular. We really enjoyed the food here and it actually might have been a good thing we could not find our original place :)

We visited Verona on a November weekend. City seems a little bit empty outside the season and especially on Sunday evening it is very difficult to find a nice place for dinner. We walked around the city looking for a place with good food when we saw this place. It looks like a typical family place, but be sure that the food — at least the pizzas are really good. We tried local speciality — 50 cm Coccinella — pizza with fresh buffala mozzarella, basil, great olives and small tomatoes. Pizza was absolutely delicious, maybe little bit on a thicker dough side, but still very tasty. The prices for pizzas are really good, however the same cannot be said about the wine, which is quite expensive — especially if you are looking for«house wine» option, as they dont have one. You pay 3.6 euro per glass of wine. which is quite average. All in all it is a great place for a nice pizza, not a romantic dinner place. You can also skip the wine and go instead for a nice selection for wine to a nearby place. which I will describe in my next interview.

Stumbled upon this place while lost in Verona and looking for a place to eat dinner. The window display was a flat-screen with mouth-watering photos of dishes. Definitely a fantastic way to lure us in. Inside was pleasantly decorated in a modern style in a soothing shade of green, and the air conditioning was a definite relief after a blistery day in August. I had shared a lovely bruschetta appetizer with my friends and ate a delicious homemade pasta with mushrooms and truffles.
