My wife and I walked in and asked for a table. The place is small. Too many tables for the space but whatever, we were hungry and ready to experience a great dinner.
The first living being to say hi was Alfonso. A dog. Telepathically, we said to each other my wife and I. What? A dog?
A dog inside a restaurant. Woaa that’s a new one.
Anyway, Alfonso was ok I guess so a girl (waitress) sat us in a hard to get in table (I am quite skinny btw)
The attitude of the waitress was awful. She was mad or something.
Waited 15 min. Nobody came. Alfonso left too.
All the sudden, a fight. Chef start yelling to the server and I felt like a scene of Godfather.
I told my wife, let’s find another place before something happens here.
Long story short, no food, bad service, yes dog, yes Italian movie scene.
Buy some paninis if you are in Venice.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy. From the service to the atmosphere to the quality and value of the food itself. I would highly recommend coming here!
We ordered various things off the menu, and all were good. The rosemary chicken was phenomenal. It’s probably pointless to even list everything we had because all of it was good and I’m guessing anything on the menu would be the same. Our server, I can’t remember his name but he has brown curly hair and is very jovial, was so sweet and explained everything on the menu to us. He was really patient and didnt push anything. Definitely let him recommend something (s) too! Surprises are always good.
Can’t say enough good things. We even wanted to come back the second night and should have since our meal that night was wayyyyyy sub par and more expensive.
