Pretty good dinner. Lasagna and eggplant were yummy. Very Good service. Dessert was the best part.

If you’re dining in Venice, aim for«acceptable», for which there are many options. La Feluca was indeed acceptable, but priced as a place that should have been«outstanding». Our server was nice and did a great job accommodating our lack of language skills, but made a few errors that were hard to overlook.

We tried to find La Feluca for lunch but gave up when all of our resources failed. Like many cities where there is no rhyme or reason to the street layout, we were in over our head. But, with the help of our hotel, we found it for dinner. It’s the kind of place we like — small, casual, comfortable and quiet. We had three servers all of whom spoke decent English. The menu is extensive, particularly pasta and seafood dishes. Our seafood entrees were delicious. The meal started with a glass of prosecco that I thought was complimentary but it wasn’t. It ended with a glass of limoncello that was. The wine selections were modestly priced — we had a nice Chardonnay from northeastern Italy. The tiramasu may have been the best we’ve ever eaten. The capuccionos were perfect. We worked hard to find this restaurant but we’re glad we did.

This place is just okay. None of the food we had was all that special. The manager highly recommended the lobster pasta to me. I thought it was mediocre at best. The service was slow. The head manager/waiter guy had a bit of an attitude. We waited a VERY long time for our food.

We were trying to find another restaurant and Google was not helping us — actually it was leading us into a canal. We were actually standing outside of La Feluca being angry-hungry, saw the Unilocal rating and went right in. The vibe of this place is that they are a moderately fancy place trying to be very fancy. The service seemed a little over the top, but you could tell the servers were doing a good job, just trying to comply to the serving policies in place. The server tried to up sell us 3 times in the welcome speech, which I appreciate as a former server, but was not interested in as a customer. Anyway, on to the food! We had a bottle of prosecco and a chef’s selection seafood sampler appetizer. SO good. About six different samples of seafood — prawns, octopus, sardines, etc. Then we ordered the spaghetti del mare(seafood) and gnocci with salmon and cream sauce. Both were amazing! Well priced too — about 15 euros for each dish, with huge portions and tons of fresh seafood. They offered dessert, we declined, they brought biscotti with the check. I would definitely return even though the up selling turned me off a little.

When entering the restaurant two different customers on their way out were raving about how good it was. They did not disappoint. The spaghetti carbonara was really good and the noodles themselves tasted so fresh and delicious. The shrimp appetizer was also great and came with a small amount of salad and a yummy sauce.

We selected this restaurant based on the 4.5 from reviews so I felt compelled to post a review. There was nothing wrong with this restaurant, it was just average though bases on our experience so far in Italy. — service was quite good and attentive — food was average, sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor but pasta seemed home made — mussels had great flavor/broth but the seafood overall was very small on both the appetizer and pasta dishes — wine prices were very highly, esp for chianti — unlike any other restaurants we have been to, they include a 12% service charge Overall, it’s a fairly Americanized experience.

The service was surprisingly curt and inattentive. My penne was over cooked, my baked potatoes soggy from excess oil, and the sea bass was decent but over priced. If you like to be treated respectfully and enjoy your meal, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Excellent food, excellent service. Emphasis on EXCELLENT. Cuttlefish ink pasta is a must have! The best seafood risotto and soups. If you don’t come, your trip to Venice is incomplete.

Best meal during our 2 week Euro trip which included Paris, Venice, Florence & Rome. Romantic little restaurant, I did not expect such a perfect meal from this place. CATCHOFTHEDAY is a must try. I enjoyed watching out server artfully skin the fish and the proceed to take out the bones. I mean wow, this fish melted in my mouth. Never had fish cooked so well in all my life. My husband had the lobster tail with pasta(I don’t remember the proper name for this fish), but both dishes were orgasmic. :D

Had our anniversary dinner here. Good ambiance for a romantic dinner. Wait staff was a bit slow this night, but it gave us time to reminisce and stay our of the pouring rain. Their menu de giorno was a good value. I do recommend. Finish the meal with their limoncello and all is good.

Out of all the table service restaurants in Venice, this one gets the award for best service. We had multiple servers, all we very attentive and prompt, even as the restaurant filled up. We got their on a Saturday around 7pm and had a reservation for 7:15.(Your hotel can help you make reservations and so recommend restaurants to try). As with many Venetian restaurants, the menu is littered with seafood items, but there are plenty of other choices with pasta. We were served complimentary glasses of prosecco with our dinner which was a nice touch. I had the spaghetti ragu(I know, I know. Since it was my last night, and I hadn’t had spaghetti and red sauce, I owed it to my inner child to have that before I left Italy. I was not disappointed! Very delicious. I highly recommend this to start or end your vacation. Enjoy!

First evening in Venice and our hotel had told us this is the restaurant we need to have dinner at. It is not easy to find if your not familiar with Venice but one of the hotel staff actually walked us over to it from our hotel. We stayed at AD Place and it was a short walk. We did not have reservations and when we arrived Tiberio spoke with the manager George and he said«let me offer you a glass of Prosecco if you don’t mind waiting ten minutes for a table». My husband said we will walk around no problem and come back. George was so funny he spoke to my husband in Italian saying please come back. He was so worried we would not come back. We did come back and George had a server meet us at the door with a glass each of Prosecco, very nice touch. The dining area had maybe twenty tables, nice décor. I was so excited to be dining in a trattoria in Venice with beautiful Venetian décor and an amazing wine list was presented to me. After analyzing the huge wine list I chose a Brunello di Motalcino it was 85 euros. George poured it and I was very pleased with my choice. He then spoke to my husband in Italian, I had NO idea what I was in for. Next thing you know plates of food started to come out. They put the spicy penne dish in front of me and a huge plate of fresh seafood in front of my husband.(see picture). The spicy penne is a must, it was so flavorful and of course the penne is made fresh on premise. I kept eating and eating it was so good. Also, very important I did request a side of extra sauce and wow loved it. Not sweet which I dislike. I still lust for their sauce. I finally had to put down my fork because in Italy you have a gazillion courses of food. George had told us we needed to try what they are known for a fish that is cooked in rock salt. I apologize I think it was called Branzino? Next thing you know George comes out with a table and this huge fish covered in rock salt. Oh geez, then the fun began. It was quite a show, everyone in the restaurant was starring at George banging the salt off the fish. Then he carefully de-boned it and put it on two plates. It took him around eight minutes and after wards the entire restaurant started to clap. What a feast. The fish was light and it melted in your mouth like butter .I was in lust eating every bite. One of the best tasting fish I have ever had. Now keep in mind our dinner lasted around three hours. Were in Venice, no rush, sit back and enjoy the excellent local food. As we were enjoying our evening immensely, George came over to check on us and he spoke with a table seated behind me and what do ya know it was the owner and his wife and friends of our boutique hotel. He was very thankful we were staying at his hotel and asked if we were happy. What a perfect ending to the evening. We were brought out an after dinner drink of grappa, nice touch. Seriously I needed to walk ten miles for all the food we consumed. It was so worth it. We had an amazing evening here and was so very thankful they told us about this place. I could not even imagine a more perfect evening with such incredible food, wine and top notch service. This is THE place to go in Venice, trust me you will not regret it and the prices are reasonable. GRAZIE, TIAMO, we will visit again.

Last night in Italy and this was the perfect ending. Went family style and everything they delivered to the table was extremely good Italian. Make sure and call for a reservation as they fill up and don’t have a huge dining room. 2nd best Italian food in Italy.

We were in Venice for only 2 days but ended up at La Fecula both nights. The service and prices were great and the food is fantastic. Ask George the manager to make a suggestion for dinner. Will come back again next time too.
