We ate at the hotel’s restaurant. The food and service were ok. The décor was very nice.
When we got the check there was a surprise cover charge of 4 Euros per person plus a 12% service charge. These two items made up about 30 pct of our total bill!
This was our second night out. The previous night we ate a great meal (also reasonably priced) at a romantic, recently redecorated restaurant (Antica Sacrestia) that had a prominent sign saying «no cover or service charge».
We are now hardened Venecian diners! We ask about the cover and service and listen to all the malarkey laced explanations!

My husband and I stayed here while in Venice. This is a great hotel due to its prime location. Whenever we got lost finding a new place, we were always happy to know that we could easily find our way home. Plus, it is surrounded by beautiful views, water taxis, water buses, shopping, and delicious dining. We were always able to find a close place to enjoy some food or drinks.
The concierge was extremely helpful when it came to our questions about finding new places and setting up transportation to the airport. The only downsize was that we were given a room on the fourth floor, and there was no elevator. I understood why they had their bellhops bring my bags up, but nobody helped to bring them back down.
The room accommodations were nice. You had a small tv, safe, a/​c, sitting table, end tables, and an amour for clothes.
