OMG, location in Venice is everything! And Corte Campana(CC) cannot be beat. Less than a two-minute walk from Saint Mark’s Square, CC offers a quiet haven in the bustle of over-crowded Venice. Ricardo is the hard working and very friendly host. CC is a small B&B, only three private rooms. Yet small is an advantage because it allows guests to know each other and spend wonderful time with Ricardo. It became a surprisingly small world when my wife and I were sharing breakfast with the two other guest couples and we discovered they were from my wife’s hometown of Kenosha, WI. And did I already say quiet?! The only downside is a walk up several flights of stairs. But hey, the walk gets you up and above the noise of tourists so I welcomed the climb. Ricardo has an elevator being installed. I’ve got mixed feelings on the elevator as it may open CC to more visitors and I may have difficulty getting my next reservation. I cannot possibly say enough good things about Ricardo and Corte Campana. Ciao!

We stayed at this bed and breakfast in late December 2014. Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Perfect location in relation to everything, amazing hosts, comfortable stay and reasonably priced. The large condo is the house that Riccardo grew up in, and it is very well kept, warm in the winter, and comfortable. Rick and his wife are very welcoming hosts. We arrived around 8 pm on a Sunday, and were helped with our bags and were given good pointers on where to go to eat. The room was very clean, warm and so antique-y. We stayed in the sister room, which is HUGE and your own bathroom is down the hall. The breakfast in the morning is very fresh, croissants, amazing yogurt, and coffee or tea. Rick spends time during breakfast talking to you and answering any questions you may have about your upcoming day’s adventures. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to any of my friends visiting Venice!
