Cartasi Spaghetteria

If you see this place don’t stop even if it is packed. The people have to be nuts. So my wife and I arrived in Venice around noon, dropped our stuff off at our place and went to grab something to eat around 1. We walked towards Saint Mark’s and found this cute little piazza so we decided to eat there thinking it would be cheaper then closer to Saint Mark’s. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife ordered the chicken salad. We started our meal with an insalata caprese which was just not that good and did not even have balsamic.
My wife’s chicken salad was just plain boring and when she asked for the balsamic and oil she got nothing but oil. Really dry. My spaghetti and meatballs were flat out gross. The meatballs were the worst thing on the plate. To top it off, the service was awful and it was way overpriced. Skip it for your sake and mine.
