There are many other options on the airport. Try them instead. The food is expensive, quality is poor, lines are long and every where you looked there were full trays and dirty tables. Not a very appealing place. Both on the other hand, if you’re with a group it’s convenient that you can sit and eat together and everywhere can choose and buy his/her own food. That’s the reason we ended up here. Something for everybody. Or… everybody unhappy. All 4 dishes were dissappointing.

Oh dear oh dear. This was our last meal on our trip to Italy and not the best way to bow out though it didn’t spoil a fantastic trip Briccocafe is located upstairs at Venice airport and was a very inviting eatery with fresh produce on display. There’s a fresh pasta station and the girlfriend reported that the chef there took real care and attention in the preparation of the food I decided to have one last pizza before leaving Italy. The large pizzas on display looked crispy and inviting. There was no queue and I waited patiently by the pizzas to order. After being ignored by the female server there, I eventually asked if I could have a slice of pizza. She said I had to go to the cash register to order first So I went to the cash register and she asked what I wanted. So I told her in English and she couldn’t understand. We walked over to the pizzas for me to point and we wandered back to the cash register for me to pay. She gave me a receipt and said she would call me when the pizza had been warmed up So I sat with the girlfriend and waited. And waited. And waited. After 10 minutes, I went back and the lady looked at me with a puzzled look. She wasn’t sure why I was asking her for a slice of pizza. Hmmm as there were hardly any customers, how could she not remember serving me 10 minute previously? I had to go back with my receipt for her to give me my pizza. Which was cold as she only slung it into the oven for 30 seconds. No hint of an apology Fortunately, the pasta was nice. To be fair, I think this is a nice inexpensive place for lunch and spoiled by the one employee
