This place just is not up to par with food in Venice. Just had the ravioli, I will now be going to the nearest gelato shop to clean my mouth.

It’s the perfect place to sit down, it is not crowded and not far from Rialto bridge. There is a washroom facility which is also convenient since you have to pay for washrooms in most of Venice. The restaurant also has free wifi, it’s also very fast so that’s great! The food was delicious, we had a pizza… Mozzarella and Salami, it was just the right size for our hunger(medium size) and soo delicious! It is a little pricey, but the food was worth it.

After a long day of walking around Venice… My wife and I were looking for just the right spot to sit down and have a nice and relaxing dinner. Like many places in Italy, there are people standing outside of every restaurant begging you to choose theirs, and will practically drag you into their restaurant to get you to eat there. To me, a good restaurant shouldn’t have to do that to you. Let the reviews /food speak for itself, and put the proof where the goods are. We turned the corner and found Snack Bar Nostro, and the name kinda threw us off… however we scanned the menu outside, and said it sounded pretty tasty. Well, in Italy… there are usually two things that you eat. Pasta and Pizza. However, everywhere you go, it can be completely different. So you do have to check each and every place out. We sat down, and it kinda had the cliché red and white italian checkered table cloths… which I thought was a fun tag onto everything. As we sat down, we were greeted by our server, and offered us the full selection of the wine menu. We ended up tasting their house red, and ended up going through 2 liters of it. The pasta dish that I ordered there was a ravioli with a creamy pistachio white sauce. It was fantastic. So much so that my wife started eating more of my food than I was. We even finished off our dinner with some authentic cannoli’s, and damn… did it want me wanting more. :)
