Especially around extra touristy areas, and San Marco square, it was pretty hard to ignore a sense of dislike toward tourists by locals, which is understandable in many ways. However, nowhere was this more apparent or obnoxious than at this café. My sister and I went here intending to have a quick gelatto and use the WiFi, but were treated very rudely. I asked for an ashtray and was very shortly told to «Use the ground.» Also, the gelatto was horrible, and instead of serving two scoops in one bowl as requested, we were given two separate bowls and charged double. Very convenient location, and might be tempting for that reason BUTDON’T DOIT!

We stopped at Caffe Internazionale for drinks and a snack before dinner. We ordered Caprese and grilled veggies. This was our 13th day in Italy and we had fantastic food all along. We ended up leaving all but a couple bites of the plates and paying for it all. The manager told us that it was all fresh and he didn’t know what we were expecting. On our last night in Italy, we were expecting high quality like we received everywhere else. We are highly disappointed with not only the food but with the service and would not recommend that anyone go here.
