i stumbled upon this in 2003, and wanted to return… we stopped in after much walking, and had an italian lager, and and a beck’s beer… then we had a toasted panini with mozarella, tomato, and lettuce… so tasty… the vibe in here is friendly and cozy… great place, and prices…

Fabulous corner bar and breakfast place. The low prices are one reason the gondoliers often stop by for a drink or espresso during the day. Morning is busy but the orange juice, cappuccinos and fresh pastries are fantastic and worth a little wait. Evening spritzes with aperol bitters, proseco, soda water and an olive are delicious for 3 euros. They are also sometimes consumed for breakfast. Drink at the bar or wander out and watch the gondolas go by.

Un petit troquet où nous sommes allé prendre notre petit déjeuner. Jus d’orange maison, pâtisseries fraîches et cafés, parait-il divins. Que demander de plus?
