Location, Charm and Amenities are exceptional, but the staff takes it over the top. This was one of 4 hotels during our tour of Italy and it was fantastic. A/C works great, the room was spacious and the fridge stocked with drinks is a bonus. Breakfast is very good with great coffee and pastries. The only setback is the maximum of 3 per room, but its not just this hotel, so confirm when booking anywhere. One small block from the Alilaguna(Blue Line) makes this a convenient starting point as you venture to the other islands like Burano, Murano, and San Marco, but Lido is not very crowded, so it has that euro feel without the euro crowded feeling.. . has great restaurants and it even has a beach which is a great way to just unwind after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend Venice, and if you book Venice The Riviera is as good as it gets
