Not big and quality of food option was not very good. Cold sandwich, some antipasti, cous cous and other cold salad. Better than nothing. Don’t expect too much then you will be ok.

too small and not the expected quality of food. This is not the know standard of a LH Lounge. Even not FTL.

The Lounge is nearby the shopping area and the gates within Malpensa Airport Terminal 1. I have been here for several different times.
You will find a clear range of food, snacks and drinks but you won’t miss too much. Food has always been fresh.
I would prefer more daylight within the Lounge. You pretty much hear the baggage transportation system which bugged me a lot. Further more the restrooms are outside the lounge in the public area. The WiFi works very well and fast.
One important tip: The Lounge itself is divided into two lounges. At the reception desk turn right to access the bigger part, with leather seats, Internet access and a bigger range of drinks and food. When you turn left at the reception you will access a rather small Lounge with uncomfortable chairs and the variety of food and drinks will much less. It happened once to me and I have been really disappointed.
I have seen much better Gold Lounges and I think it is a Silver Lounge at the max. However, it is pretty good compared to nothing.
