Trattoria Tre Merli

why only four stars? we had to ask for the bill three times and our drinks were served sans glasses (eh?) — we drink out of the bottle? but for the rest this is a very special spot with lovely fresh fish /​seafood, good house wine (there was no wine list to speak of), and a stunning view. its clientele do seem to be a mixture of Italian and foreigners, as such their menu is available in English, German and Italian. waiters were helpful and keen to please. again, it’s not a 5 star place because it wasn’t exceptional in either its staff or the food it produces. we got lucky as nature gave us a most perfect evening for sitting on the deck watching the sunset and enjoying our dinner. Go at sunset for a spectacular setting!

Ti amo tre merli, es war einfach wunderbar. Nun bereits zum 2. Mal hier gewesen, und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur allen empfehlen.
Die Vorspeisenplatte a la bonheur — besonders der hauchdünn geschnittene pulpo hatte es mir angetan.
Spaghettii con vongole waren extrem delikat zubereitet, so schön cremig, weit weg von geil. Wir waren angenehm satt, ohne dem Gefühl der Schwere im Magen zu spüren.
Eine besondere Geste ist die dunkle Schokolade, die sie zum Espresso nach dem Essen servierten — auf einem schönem Olivenbrett, mit speziellem Messer, nimm soviel du magst.
