This was one of the best meals of our lives! We started with the steak tartar and it was phenomenal! And a very healthy portion. I got the balsamic marinated Tagliata and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked(medium-rare) with sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes. My boyfriend got Tagliata with shaved white truffles. When we ordered we expected a few small morsels, but instead the chef came out and shaved a generous portion table-side. The steak was delicious alone, but these just heightened the experience. The steak is also served with salt bar of salts harvested around the world. It blew my mind the variations each salt inflicted. We ended with a semifreddo which was on par with the rest of the meal. The ambiance was really quaint and homey. Our table had a direct view of the wood grill and the smells were wonderful. DEFINITELY go here if you’re in Trieste.
