Indian in Treviso. I’ve been waiting for this for years. Well, Buddha opened and it’s full of Italians. Who would have expected that… :-) I visit Indian restaurants a lot in the UK where they are extremely popular. So I can compare. Buddha in Treviso does not disappoint. It offers quality Indian food in a restaurant that is decorated better than most British Indians. Another nice touch is that the staff wears Indian clothing. When we asked the waiter for recommendations, he was happy to help. Of course there are no beef options, but chicken, lamb, pork, fish, and vegitarian main courses available. A good variety of starters and deserts. We did not try the deserts. There were only a few minor things that were not perfect during my visit: — The menus are not of high quality(the actual menu, not the food) — My starter was samosa, and they were not yet warm on the inside. — After my starter I asked for clean cutlery but was told that I could only have a fresh plate, not cutlery. — We asked for medium spicy food. The food was more spice than ‘medium’ I think. So watch out there. Prices: about 10 euro for a curry plus naan bread or rice.
