Arrived in Venice today starving. Stumbled upon this place and it did not disappoint. My husband and I shared the caprese– delicious, fresh tomatoes. I had the spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and chili pepper– had a bit of a kick, but just what I was looking for, and the pasta was the perfect al dente. My husband has the prosciutto pizza, which was also yummy. Good service, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Plenty of atmosphere in this noisy(nice) bistro not far from San Marco. Main courses around € 12 pp. Recommended the tuna salad, carbonara and sea food spaghetti. Service was ok, food good and reasonably priced.

Good, attentive, friendly service. We stopped by because their menu with photos were displayed in the window. What caught my eye was the spaghetti with squid ink. I remember a colleague of mine suggesting I try it while I’m here. So, I decided to be adventurous and have it a go. I was disappointed in my self for not being able to acquire a taste for it. I realized I am no Andrew Zimmerman. It smells exactly how it tastes and is smothered in literally black squid ink with pieces of squid. The smell is pungent, perfumey, and very deep ocean smelling. Thankfully, my husband was able to stomach it and developed a taste for it. Instead, I ordered the spaghetti with clams and sprinkled fresh parmesan all over it. This dish I simply devoured. I would go back here again and try something like their lobster pasta or one of their huge pizzas. We ordered two bottles of still water, a beer, small salad, melon with prosciutto, and two pasta dishes. Total = 69 Euro + tip. It was a very expensive lunch. I guess we’ll have a light dinner. Bön appetite!
