One of the many cafes on Piazza San Carlo. Step inside and you’re greeted by a gorgeous backdrop of chandeliers and grand staircase. I did not get a chance to eat here but rather came to enjoy an espresso at the bar among many other patrons. Come for the atmosphere and you won’t be disappointed.

One of the famous and historic cafes of Torino. I came in on a Saturday morning to have a bicherin, water, and a croissant. The total came up to 13.80 euros! Insane, given what other similar cafes in Torino cost. The service was prompt but rather cold. I was told that the wifi didn’t work when I took out my iPad to read. I wasn’t even looking to use the wifi, but rather, was doing some reading for a class. Nevertheless, I felt that it was a hint that lingering wasn’t welcome, which apparently reading implies(despite staying for less than 20 minutes!). Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Come for its location(on Piazza San Carlo) and its historic presence(look for it in old Italian movies set in Torino).Service is good as are the food and coffee drinks. I had a café latte which was a bit tepid for my taste and a perfectly adequate slice of pizza. Mostly, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the people watching– including photo shoots for two different brides.

Delicious food and great service. Ordered the fresh pasta with the mushrooms that were special that day and I did not regret it. Also the starters, some Bianchetti and Carpaccio were absolutely worth their money. We sat outside on the nice piazza, but having a aquick look on the inside showed a really nice ambiente and fabolous pastries.
