Sorrento Coast Limo

Rosario was a wonderful guide and driver during our stay on the Amalfi Coast. His English is fluent and he shares interesting knowledge of the area… especially on Italian cuisine. In two days, he showed us the best of the area and set us up with an excellent guide at Pompeii. Rosario also made reservations for us at two excellent restaurants in Positano where we stayed; and arranged porters for our luggage the last day. He is an excellent driver, extremely responsible and punctual and we very much enjoyed his company.

One thing I know from my first trip to Italy is that Italians do things with style. That being said, if you want to tour some of the most beautiful parts of Italy, you want to do so in style and there is no better way than to call up Rosario and Sorrento Coast Limo Tours.
We wanted to explore the entire south coast of Italy and we only had two days. It would have been impossible on our own and so I am so glad we called Sorrento Coast Limo. Rosario and his Mercedes Benz van are truly what is needed to appreciate the sights and cities.
Plus, Rosario himself is a very informative and genuine tour guide himself. He is fluent in English which is impressive since he learned the language not too long ago. He’ll indulge you in every important detail of each stop and sight and he’ll even provide insight that you wouldn’t get normally. For example, he knows where J-​Lo, Jay-​Z and Beyonce have stayed in the 5-​star luxury hotels and has anecdotes for each. Best of all is that Rosario is from Sorrento which means the south of Italy is his expertise. But that doesn’t stop him from also providing limo service from cities more north such as Venice and Milan.
The tour is also extremely accommodating to your schedule and itinerary. Want to spend less time in one city and more in another? Rosario will have his van at the extraction point immediately so you can continue your journey. Rosario will also have recommendations for the best restaurants in each city. He’ll go the extra mile and even make reservations for you. One of his picks in Ravello was truly memorable. It is a seafood restaurant with a view to die for.
The best part of the tour is how much trust you can put into Rosario and his guidance. He’s here to make sure you have the time of your life and do things exactly how you want. That personal touch makes this more private limo tour way better than getting on those huge tour busses. First off, its faster, the Mercedes van can get to places the bus would take hours to get to and it can fit into the parking spots closest to the drop-​off points. Second, we saw many busses holding up traffic or taking forever to get from one spot to another just because the winding roads of the south of Italy are definitely NOT bus-​friendly.
Finally, the reason you’ll want to book with them is because they are expanding. They’ll have a boat tour by next year and really in the south of Italy you MUST travel by boat once. Also, they offer more specialized tours such as a wine and food tour of Italy for the foodies out there. That means you’ll luckily be able to travel to the best wineries, partake in an Italian wine-​making class, and then pair all of that with some of the best mozzarella cheese you won’t be able to find elsewhere.
Rosario and the tours made everything absolutely perfect. He goes above the call of duty and goes the extra mile in every way. He even dropped us off at the airport on the second day of our tour! In sum, I would definitely book a tour with them again. So should you, it is so worth it!

Rosario was very kind and replied very promptly and was very quick in response from organizing the dates to creating a rough itinerary of what we wanted to see. The vehicle is a spacious Mercedes van with comfortable seats and views. Rosario is very knowledgeable about the entire region and a very safe driver especially in the windy roads along the Amalfi Coast.
The first day he picked us up promptly at our hotel in Sorrento and took us around the Amalfi Coast stopping at Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We were able to stop by many amazing views on the way to each town, and walk around in each town. Rosario even offered to take photos for us with the amazing backdrop views, which was very kind of him. Rosario would point out great knowledgeable facts about each area and what each town is known for and its history.
We started out with a drive to the beautiful overlook of Positano and it is absolutely breathtaking! I mean, look at the photos! We continued to Positano and was able to stroll through very charming town filled with lemon, linen, and handcrafted sandals. We had a scenic drive through the Amalfi Coast, everything was breathtaking.
Rosario has great lunch recommendations, one great seafood place in the Amalfi Coast which was unfortunately closed that day and another great lunch spot with amazing views in Ravello at Garden Hotel. We stopped for lunch in Ravello and enjoyed a delicious lobster pasta and fresh seafood salad with such amazing views over the coast. Rosario was kind to request a table with a great view on our behalf. Truly a sight to remember!
We started our drive back and made a stop at the Amalfi Coast. It was possibly more touristy there as we grabbed a quick gelato and walked around the souvenir stores. I recommend you spend a little more time in Positano, many cute little shops with an amazing view to enjoy!
The next day he took us on a lovely half day tour to Pompeii and Naples before dropping us off at the airport. He gave us a few quick tips towards Pompeii which definitely needs more time the next time we visit as we were rushing towards the airport! Pompeii has so much to see and Rosario made great recommendations on other sights near Pompeii that have so much history. We went onto Naples and Rosario knew I wanted a good traditional Neapolitan pizza! He said the pizza joint where Eat, Pray, Love was filmed always has a very long wait and there is another place right near it that is just as good. It was delicious! Be sure to eat the pizza with a fork and knife, they don’t slice it for you. We explored Naples briefly before taking off to the airport.
Rosario offers many other great services from transfers, boat excursions for those on cruises, and a variety of customizable tours along the South of Italy. He made this length of trip very relaxing and enjoyable with smooth transportation, information, and best views and sights.
I’ve gone on plenty of guided tours and Rosario exceeded my standards. His English was great and communicated very well. His personable and professional demeanor truly made our visit much more enjoyable. I highly recommend him for any tours/​transfers you need when visiting Italy.
