I stayed in the hotel portion, not the apartments. Every year, I travel with a group of 40 – 50 people to ski for a week. We rotate destinations each year, using a travel agency to coordinate flights and lodging. In all the years I have been on this trip(8 trips to date), this was definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff was extremely helpful and patient with our group. When our group was delayed in its arrival, they had plates in each of the rooms with a dinner waiting for our 10PM arrival. The rooms were comfortable, with adequate closet space, and large bathrooms. The shower had hot water for days, which was wonderful after a day of skiing. The restaurant had wonderful food, including an extremely large salad and antipasti bar. This alone was a fitting meal, but while on vacation why not eat even more? The hotel was a 100 meter walk(uphill in the morning, downhill in the afternoon) from the Ciampanoi gondola, though if you wanted to ski into town you could cut the distance in half. For traveling to the Ortisei or Bolzano, the bus stop was down the street and was a comfortable walk. I wish the wi-fi access was available in the rooms, but there was a large lobby area with plenty of sitting areas to use your device of choice. Overall, the hotel won rave reviews from our group of travelers, myself included. KUDOS!
