Da Peppino is located in Sant’Angelo and it can be considered a 5 stars restaurant. I went there with my partner during spring time, perfect because we avoided big crows tipical of summer time in Ischia.
The restaurant has been operating for more than 60 years and they know what they are doing. Mauro, the restaurant manager/​host, was impeccable, as well Giovanna, the sommelier.
We shared one entrée and ordered also 2 «Zuppa di Pesce», seafood soups. Seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, seriously tasty. The portions were quite big, in fact I couldn’t finish mine. We also got a matching wine from Ischia, which was perfect for our mains.
Shame we couldn’t have a dessert too… We were too full!
In terms of prices, i can’t say it was overpriced because you pay for what you get. And high stardard service plus fantastic food can’t be cheap.

Das Ristorante daPeppino ist von der Lage und von der Art der Bedienung her auf alle Fälle ein Besuch wert.
Von da genießt man einen herrlichen Blick über den Hafen von Sant Angelo. Das Essen ist gut. Innen ist es schön kühl und «La Mama «sieht nach dem Rechten. Hier kommt die typische italienische Inselkultur
besonders gut rüber.Das Lokal ist ein Unikum, das garantier ich.
