After a frustrating drive(Google maps and San Damiano were playing hide the restaurant). We stumbled upon La Lanterna, a small local warm dining room welcomed us. The Waiter/Sommelier /Chefs husband saw we were a little frazzled unlocked the door, seated us and quickly brought some prosciutto on bread. As we snacked the Chef came out and offered us a few pasta and second course options the food was beautifully and tastefully prepared and the wine recommendations were spot on. We ended being the last people in the restaurant and had a lovely conversation with the chef and her husband while finishing our Panna cote and grappa. Great people, great place
