Such a great way to tour Rome! My friend and I rented the bike for what I believe was 4 hours. I think I remember being able to rent for half a day or whole day, but the owner was so kind and reasonable and gave us a discount because we were renting it only for 4 hours. My memory is fuzzy though, so don’t quote me on that — what I do remember is that he was nothing but kind. He gave each of us maps and suggested a route, which we happily followed. The bikes were decent with baskets at the front. We rode from here, spun around the Colosseum and through the city, visited the then-closed Trevi Fountain, took a picture at the Spanish Steps, and rode all the way through the Vatican City and back. I traveled with my best friend, but had I come to Rome with a guy, this would have been very romantic! Highly recommended!
