Recommended by our local tour guide. The pizza was pretty good. One of the guys in our group ordered the oxtail, and he said that was very good as well.

We were hungry, thirsty, and wet as it has rained all morning during our excursion to the Coliseum and Forum. One in our party had developed blisters so we popped into the Formecia across the street for some bandages. Having taken care of that emergency we thought we would give Wanted a try. Truthfully we didn’t expect too much. They apparently market themselves as a burger and pizza place, but it was close and we were wet… So in we went. I think there must be new management or they liked us or something as we had a very pleasant experience. We had the best pizza in Rome so far(and we spent two days in Trastevere and tried the highest rated on Unilocal…). I posted a picture of my pizza already-capricciosa. My daughters both had margarita pizzas and they had very fresh and great looking basil leaves. While I’m sure other places do that, it has been an exception rather than the rule for us. I am a bit confused by a precious poster concerning a charge for a second bottle of water. I wish they would have said where they got one for free. If this is the first posting you read about Rome restaurants, take note. You pay for your water! Just sayin… I was torn between three and four stars but after some contemplation I realized they delivered more than I expected so 4 it is. And if you think I give our stars like water(haha) look at some of my previous postings. I can be a bit stingy(read brutal) in my reviews.

Just walk around a little bit and you’ll find better places to eat.

We were wandering through the neighborhood and were looking for a quick bite and Wanted fit the bill. The pizza was very good and the cold beer sure hit the spot.

The food was fine… your typical average pizza and pasta. We ordered two salads and only got one and when we asked for our 2nd salad we were given a menu and asked what we wanted. The kids decided to share so we decided not to get the 2nd salad a anyway. We didn’t look at our check very closely until after we left and saw they charged us for the second salad. We were also charged for an extra water.

Waren während unserem Aufenthalt in Rom mehrmals hier essen.

No. Touristy food, poor service, and just disappointing. The only decent thing was vegetable soup. There were bugs swarming our table the whole meal. Friend tried boar sausage antipasti, but it was inedible. The waiter did not understand that he did not like it and was reluctant to take it away. They tried to charge us for it at end of meal… that was a headache. We asked for bread and more wine, but never got either. Unilocal was right on this one. Go somewhere else!

Il y a des endroits dans la vie dont on se souviendra, surtout lorsqu’ils concernent nos papilles. Une pizza, difficile de louper une pizza, et bien eux ils les loupes à merveille. Restaurant à eviter si vous voulez bien manger.

I’m only giving this place one star because you can’t give zero stars. We were greeted by a nice woman and told to sit down at any table. Once we sat down, our waiter came over, never made eye contact, and literally threw the menus onto the table. The silverware bounced all over the place, and he stormed away. Maybe it was because we were American tourists, but in my opinion no one should be treated that way. Needless to say, I can’t comment on the food because we walked out immediately. I recommend spending your money anywhere but here. Check out any of the neighboring restaurants, where the staff is friendly and they know how to do business.

Haben direkt nach Besuch des Colloseums hier Pizza Tonno mit Kapern und Pizza Vegetaria gegessen. Pizzen wenig geschmackvoll. Teig dünn und knusprig. Für den Hunger o.k. Aber nicht mehr. Der knorrige Ober kostet einen Stern.
