Vito’s

Not worth the effort. We were walking by and hungry so we decided to try it. This is a tourist place only. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Service was slow

Loved it! The steak skewers melt in your mouth. And the T-​bone was huge… but we had no trouble finishing it off. We loved the staff. I had my family of 5 with me on a vacation trip and they treated us like regulars. We downed a couple bottles of wine and we were treated to free dessert fruit and homemade Lemonchella. Talk about refreshing! We stumbled back to the hotel. Good thing it was in walking distance! Great place. Great food. Great people.

8 persons got a 800 euro bill which surprised us. The food was good but they recommended the most expensive wine and huge amounts of food. In the end, we wrapped it up two big plates of seafood .I don’t think the seafood was delicious when we were home. It was a big waste. few Italian waiter in the restaurant can pronounce english well and they always said «the balabala is very very very good».800 euro means a lot.

We stayed at the «Hotel they Mellini» what a beautiful place it is !!! We ask the beautiful and professional girls who work the front desk for a restaurant in the area to have diner, they suggested VITO down the block from the hotel., The restaurant is a Steakhouse, and also a fine italian restaurant for people who enjoy pizza and pasta. Mr Vito a roman with a Sicilian name Don Vito he is a true gentleman. He is a man who enjoy been a restauranteur We are from N Y and some of us are in the restaurant business, his food and service was second to none. Most of the staff spoke English. We where a party of 8 pleople and we can honestly say that was one of the best food we had in Rome. Few days later, the final of the World Cup of soccer, I ask my family where they wanted to go for dinner and watch the game, they all sad «lets go to VITO». We had an outstanding diner and several bottles of wine from Vito’s private selection. The Bar is made of crafted wood from a historic door of a Church of Rome. at the same time you can watch your favor game in multiple TV in several rooms of the restaurant. If you are Rome and staying near Prati or Trastevere near the Vatican enjoy an evening da «VITO» especially if you are a Meat lover

Good food and great people. We had the four cheese pizza and the pasta carbonara both were great!

Haben auf unserer Romreise mehrfach hier gegessen. Sehr lecker! Spezialität ist Steak auf langem Spieß vom Grillrost, wird am Tisch serviert und man nimmt sich seine frisch abgeschnittenen Scheiben. Auch Pasta und Desserts sind sehr gut. Zudem ist die Bedienung sehr freundlich!
Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
