I am not sure why this place has such bad reviews!
We happened upon it while looking for a quick snack and loved every minute of it!
The service was great — fast and friendly. If there was an issue with your bill or order, I would say it’s because of the language barrier (not the restaurant’s fault), not because they are trying to take advantage of tourists. I don’t speak Italian, but was able to order (and get what I asked for) and pay (the correct bill) with no issues.
That being said — this place is so freaking cute! I love the décor, and especially the downstairs. It looks like a little cave — and the bathroom was clean, with toilet paper and a toilet seat (score)! They also offered free WIFI, which was very important.
We had a couple glasses of wine (each), shared a sampler of bruschette (so good) and the antipasto (also amazing).
I would definitely return to Vin Allegro the next time I am in Roma!

Awful service lets down what could otherwise be a nice quaint wine bar. They get orders wrong, charge you wrong, put you in the queue and then forget about you.
