Vanni was recommended by our hotel.
We went for dinner and service was terribly slow. It took forever till anyone even came to take our order.
I ordered a margarita pizza and it was nothing special. My friend ordered a steak that was very overly priced and was literally drenched and soaked in a bitter tasting sauce. However, the steak was cooked very nicely.
I would not recommend Vanni. For visitors staying in a nearby hotel, I would recommend they travel a little further to find a more enjoyable place to eat.

Good but slightly overpriced bar/​cafeteria with a wide pastry area offering a great selection of sweets, caked, cookies and much more. Ice creams are also very good, especially the marronita (chestnuts cream) that is their most popular flavor. This has also been the first bar in Rome to offer frozen yogurt, now more popular and easy to ind almost everywhere. In the past this was an institution, but nowadays there are better places I prefer to go to, even though in the area this is still a must visit venue.
