Probably because I’ve seen too many chick flicks, I always connect ice skating with a romantic atmosphere — how many times did we see the world famous ice skating rink in front of the Rockefeller Center in New York on TV?
With this picture in your mind you become quite disappointed when visiting «Testaccio on Ice». The surrounding is disillusioning and the area not worth a visit (even if there are clubs close that might be good).
Nervertheless, if you only think about doing sports, the artificial ice rink provides everything you need — ice skates can be rent there as well.
