We are Americans staying in the Parti, and we discovered Tesone somewhat near our apartment. Our experience over several meals there has been delightful and very reasonably priced. The pizzas have been quite good, crispy, and the sole and swordfish at 6 euros were real values. The zucchini blossom as a starter is a treat, as was the soup of the day. Most importantly, we enjoyed the ambiance, few tourists but full of Romans on Friday and Saturday nights especially. There were three generation families having a great time, with little children behaving well or at least behaving. The waiters do not speak a lot of English, and the service is okay, not speedy, which was fine with us — and extremely helpful and welcoming. Our waiter took one of us back to the kitchen to help identify which beef dish she wanted. And every meal ended with a Sicilian Amoretto, a great flouish! Even with white table cloths, this is not a fancy restaurant but highly enjoyable and friendly.
