Coming from the U. S we have been looking for a place with this ambience and quality of food. If you’re looking for a nice evening with great food, then you should dine here.

The place is cozy and the host is very friendly and helpful. She practically designed the whole meal around our preferences. We started with mixed salad with the chefs freshly made balsamic sauce. The first main dish was an Italian-Indian fusion — fettuccini with shrimp and curry sauce. The other dish was baked sea bass. Both were way above average. The desert was also out of this world. Don’t miss the tiramisu. Can’t complain about anything. Will definitely be back

Our best meal in Rome! The owner is a sweetheart who puts out an amazing spread of food! Go check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

A hidden wonder just 100 yards from Ara Pacis. Owned by Fatima, an elegant and friendly lady. Real Roman food made with passion. Delightful gnoccis, fresh fish and accordingly to my wife, extremely good desserts. Fair priced wine.

We went around 7:30pm and we were the first couple there. There soon came two more. The chef came out to take our order. We shared sliced beef antipasti dish and it was excellent. We shared a pasta dish and it was delightful. We also got a traditional roman dish and that was great also. We enjoyed the place!

We stopped into Taverna di Ripetta for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. This is exactly the kind of place we love in Rome… a tiny, family owned restaurant that makes you feel as though you are having a meal inside someone’s private home. The chef came out and explained that because it was lunchtime, their entire menu was not available. He suggested certain dishes based upon our preferences, and all of his suggestions were great… our meals were fabulous. The house wine was great. Our hostess/owner, Fatima and a friend of the family who was visiting the restaurant made us feel welcome. It was our best dining experience in Rome — and that is saying a lot, because we had a lot of great meals in Rome.

In a word, incredible. We didn’t use the menu, just asked for the owner’s favorites. She started us with the best gnocchi I’ve ever had with a fresh tomato sauce, super smooth with excellent flavor. She followed it up with a perfect medium rare taglieta with balsamic vinegar sauce and arugula, and ended up with a wonderful caprese. All in all, wonderful service, amazing food, and a note from my wife: great bathroom!

A small, intimate restaurant with an owner that takes a personal interest in every dish and every customer. We went there for lunch with a group of about 15 on a NY Metropolitan Museum art tour of Rome. The owner brought out one appetizer after another, each one delicious, by the time we reached the end of the appetizers, it was hard to even imagine eating the main courses. But we persevered! Everything was was cooked and presented beautifully. Great local wines on offer. Would definitely like to go there again and see what’s for dinner!
