A pretty swanky supermarket near the Coliseum and the Forum. Store is laid out very nicely and the staff is pretty friendly. They had all the basics we needed to supply our AirBnB, all the way down to laundry detergent. Good selection of beer/wine and has a decent assortment of bread/meat/cheeses. We came here daily on our trip to Rome to pick up supplies for breakfast and a pre-dinner snack. They also take credit cards, which is always nice for the international traveller.

Your neighborhood fancier grocery store. Selection is limited, so I wouldn’t call it a supermarket. Great to get bottled water. Everything is pricey.

Nice super market/grocery store off Cavour, right by the Metro stop. They sell: cookies/pastries(either packed or a large selection in the deli counter!), cheeses, meats, some fruits/veggies/dairy, cleaning supplies and plastic plates/cuttlery(we had to pick up forks and plates for eating out of the hotel room!). It’s a nice place to browse and see the variety of foods available here. Good place to pick up snacks to go with a picnic. And the prices seem good– Taralli crackers(the round ones) were less than 2 euro for a package– I’ve seen the same size packages at smaller shops for 4 euros! The staff seem nice– the deli counter guy was very sweet and wasn’t annoyed with our attempts at Italian to make our order. Just remember you’ll need to order your cheese/meats in grams or kilos(not pounds!) Be warned– they are closed all day Sunday.
