Gemelli is a station(stazione) on Rome’s commuter rail link on the Capranica /Viterbo line which goes by the designation FR3. Escalators and a lift will bring passengers from street level down to track level, but if you take the elevator you will miss the random flea market sort of thing with locally produced art on one level. There is parking available, but I don’t know how much. There is a ticket machine available, which accepts Euro coins and notes plus European-style«chip and pin» cards. When I was here in 2011, many lights were out giving it a bit of a creepy feel. Be aware of your surroundings, as you would in any major city.
