Terrible service, rude staff, overpriced. Really nothing redeeming about this place except for their location when tourists need a rest. After they charged us € 5 for a small tea they had the nerve to ask us to leave the restaurant after 10 minutes. Ciao

Went there for Gelato and we got more attitude than anything. Gelato was just okay but not worth dealing with the miserable ppl working there. The place looks warm and friendly but EVERY person gave us attitude. That means 5 people were rude to us in less than minutes that we were there. Zero stars.

I wish I could go 2.5 stars on this one. The service was just that bad though, even though it was well aware we were on a «lunch break» from a tour, and had some time constraints. So therefore, I’m rounding DOWN. Our tour guide did warn us that some things weren’t good here, she especially said not to order sandwiches, so we stuck to pizza and pasta. The food itself was ok. The pizza I chose was a little too«crazy» for me, which was my fault as I selected it soley because the toppings sounded nuts(yes hard boiled eggs on pizza) and all the toppings made it challenging to eat — though it did taste good and had a good dough. But when you have to ask your server more than 3 times for your initial bottles of water and they don’t come out until you’re almost finished eating, well that’s a bad, bad sign, and will stick out as the part I most remember of the meal. Let’s not even talk about how many times we had to request the check. And one of the other couples on the tour with us had to walk out, pizza in hand, and attempt to eat while walking to the Colosseum. Due to it’s prime location our tour guide really had no choice but to let us eat here. However, if you’re not in the same boat, eat somewhere else.

Nice atmosphere and our waitress spoke perfect English even though we are trying out our bad Italian she was great very good view of the coliseum it was the perfect The brochette was just ok being in Italy I expected it to be more flavourful then what I would get in Australia but it wasn’t it was just tomatoes on bread The dessert was great but I found it a little expensive think we were paying for the view Also had great wifi and other foods looked great like the pizzas shame I wasn’t hungry enough to buy one I might head back for dinner to try something substantial One last point the bathroom situation is bad one male toilet for a café that size and with no toilet seat it’s not good

just another café right by the Colosium(metro as well). I ordered a simple pasta bologenese that was decent. Not spectacular but at least it was cooked al dente. I mostly came here for a few reasons: It was raining, they have free wifi, I was tired and hungry… otherwise, a decent view from their patio and window seats.

This is one of the many cafes around the Colosseum. What they say about such places is true so don’t waste your money eating here. The Margherita pizza crust was soggy, and the single basil leaf on it had gone bad, with a big black spot on it. It tasted like microwaved pizza. The fruit salad came mostly with bananas and a few kiwi pieces — I had to point to the variety of fruit on display and remind them they had said the salad was a mix from there. The waitperson finally added some watermelon pieces to my salad. I had also ordered fried cod at € 4 which they did not have and the waiter suggested fried zucchini flowers instead. They were the worst of all the food I got — rubbery, half done and when the bill came they cost € 8. The only good item was fresh squeezed orange juice.
