So Good is a recently opened and cozy beer bar on Aventino, just south of Circo Massimo. It sells panini and cold cuts, which are good, but the reason to go visit(and the reason I’m there all the time) are the Italian craft beers(birre artigianale). There are six taps that rotate regularly, and the selection is nicely balanced with at least one or two hoppy beers alongside other styles. You’ll often find Vento Forte on tap, which in my opinion is the best brewery in Italy. The bar is owned and operated by brothers(and their girlfriends) who are very nice and welcoming – and know their beer. You’ll find a good mix of local Italians, expats, and travelers at So Good, which makes it a great place to practice your Italian or meet new friends.
