We bought the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Tours together.
If we had a choice, we would definitely do the Sistine Chapel tour ourselves. Because there is NO talking inside the chapel… NO photography either. There were hundreds and hundreds people standing shoulder to shoulder. Super crowded. People stands there for long time raising their head to admire the art work.
Maybe because it was a long tour at the Vatican Museum and no seating area, when we got to Sistine Chapel… we were so tired and couldn’t wait to get out the museum.
The art work is impressive; however, with low lighting and super crowded, we couldn’t really enjoy it.
Also, no shorts or sleeveless. That is the dress code.
