After 19 days of traveling away from home, had to get my non pizza/pasta sushi fix. This place is a Brazilian/Japanese fusion, would not find this combo in the States. Packed on a Tuesday night, reservations are highly recommended. They have menus in English and an iPad that shows photos of all the items. Ordered: Edamame, was just okay, they overlooked them, would skip. Dinner was good, started with the Samba tartar, salmon tartar with crab and roe, very tasty. Rolls ordered were the chef roll(cooked roll with salmon ontop) and ipanema(shrimp tempura with imitation crab) both were yummy. The rolls could have been rolled tighter. Their specialty cocktails are a must, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Service: service was attentive. Seeing how my Italian and the severs English were limited, the manager was very attentive and took the order. The servers checked on us a few times. Overall: definitely a place where the locals go. Sushi was fresh. Highly recommended place, when you are looking for something a bit different than the traditional cuisine of Roma.
