After having a walk down the city centre, we needed to recharge batteries with some local food, but being a such a tourist street, the overwhelming and usually annoying ‘PRs’ trying to fish customers out of the street could easily put you off and get you going to the worst place. This place was not the worse at all, the service was good, they had some tables on the street, which may be a good choice if dining on a mild evening. We ordered Rigatonni Carbonara and a ham & egg pizza, both quite tasty. The price of the dinner was be around 15 € pax, just a main course and drinks. They had some hidden costs, such as ‘terrace surplus’ of 2 € pax, and labelling a jug of water ‘mineralised water’ and asking for 3.50 €. Not a bad choice in this area.

Was able to get some yummy gluten free pasta here. We went into several restaurants and checked for gluten free before sitting, and most only offer end salad. Let me tell you, salad gets old after a while if that’s all you can eat. This place offered to make me any sort of gluten free pasta combo I wanted. I had spaghetti noodles with creamy pesto dressing. It was good! I wouldn’t say it was the best meal I’ve had in Italy, but it was very satisfying. They were knowledgable about what I could and could not eat, and I really appreciated that. The pasta was cooked to perfection. No complaints.

Fantastic food! Came here twice during my 2 night stay, lol. We sat outside, although they do offer inside seating. The first night we got the pasta over lobster dish and the cream and pepper pasta, both delicious although the lobster pasta was superior in every way. It was so good, that’s why we came back the 2nd night. We ordered this dish again and it was just as good as the first time. I really like consistency! The service was good. Since it’s Rome, it’s pricey. Not overly expensive or anything, but everything in Rome is pricey. There is a coperto charge, I believe it’s 3.5 euro a person. It’s located close to the spanish steps and there are tons of shops around to look at while walking off your delicious meal. I highly recommend this place. When, or I should say, if I am back in Rome, this WILL be the place I have dinner at again!
