Found this little gem by accident while walking aimlessly from our room at Hotel Cicerone which is several blocks south, on my first trip to Italy in 2006. We did return again in 2007 and had pizza again! ATMOSPHERE: Small & cramped interior, I don’t think there was any seating inside. The display case takes up the entire width of the space and the pizzas all look fabulous! FOOD: Pizza — Its been 7 years since I was there, but according to my pic, I had a mushroom & ham? slice. The slice is huge, probably around 4“x6″. Crust is thin, crunchy and chewy which is what I love. Tons of flavor, I remember. And hey, you’re in ITALY. Everything Italian tastes better in the motherland! SERVICE: The ladies were very friendly and explained the different types of pizza available. TIP: The pies you get in Italy are totally different than what you’d find in the US. I remember pepperoni is was not available as I guess it isn’t traditional.
