After visiting the Vatican my friends were trying to look for a less touristy restaurant right near the museum and stumbled upon this place. The waitress didn’t speak English but the menu had English captions which is a plus. I got the meat filled ravioli with truffle sauce which was incredible, but I wish it was a bigger size. Definitely would recommend!

This was a great find. It’s a small place a few blocks away from the Vatican. It has an upscale but friendly vibe. The special Molise pasta that I had with clams was excellent. I was the only customer when I arrived at about 2 pm for lunch but it’s probably a good idea to make reservations for dinner.

You need to come here, period. Everything is perfection and you MUST, MUST, MUST ask to have the dessert Tarta Buffalina. Heaven in your mouth, and haven’t been able to find it anywhere else but here. Still run by mom and pop. Do not skip this place!!! I also had the Abbachio allo Scottadito.
