On one of our final days in Italy as part of a tour group we all had dinner at this fun place near St. Peter’s Square. There were opera singes making the night pretty interesting for everyone and the food was quite good. The staff was pleasant and we had a great time. I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area.

We went to this restaurant on our first night in Rome and really enjoyed our first taste of Rome. We were surprised by a complimentary order of focaccia bread. Our group of four ordered pizza, sea food pasta, pork and veal. Great food and service.
We went again last night and had a great experience too.

Wir wohnten im nahegelegenen «Michelangelo» und wollten einmal um die Ecke essen gehen.
Die Pasta Amatriciana für 8 EUR waren eine handvoll Nudeln mit wässriger Sosse und wenig Speck und keinen Zwiebeln. Der folgende Cesar Salat für ebenfalls 8 EUR war kühl und komplett fertig aus der Küche geholt. Das Glas Wein für 4 EUR war auch nicht lecker. Das «Schnitzel», das wir auch hatten, war in altem Fett frittiert; so roch es und schmeckte es auch.
Der Service hatte leider kaum Interesse an uns.
Fazit: sich kein zweiter Versuch.
