This place was a pleasant surprise. Guidebooks and travel sites warn about eating at places close to hotels/places that use English in their menu, so I had low expectations when a friend decided to randomly walk in and order a pizza. She ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza(although the meat seemed like ham to me) and it was pretty good. The following day I returned and ordered a white pizza and a prosciutto pizza. The white pizza came out like a giant warm salty cracker with olive oil – I think they forgot the cheese? I was a bit tired, so I might have misread the menu when I selected and asked for white pizza. The prosciutto pizza was incredible. It was crunchy, the sauce was a bit sweet and it hit all the right spots. We paid much less than anticipated and that was an added bonus. We haven’t ordered wine here(yet) but they have a decent selection at a decent price range. In addition, the bottles of water are priced better than most places so we stocked up on a water stash. I recommend giving this place a try.

We also found out about this place because it was across the street from our hotel! I couldn’t be happier to have something close to «home» to grab a drink after a long day of walking the city. The staff was super cool. Drinks are cheap(although their well vodka was pretty harsh) and there is free wifi so you can post the day’s worth of pictures on your social media outlet of choice! I also got one of the sipping chocolates. Super rich and luxurious. Goes great with harsh vodka!

Loved this bar. It was right next to our hotel. The staff are funny and welcoming. We spent every night of our vacation here. The food is great, and well priced. They have many drink specials and make them well, or if you ask they will make anything. One of the bartenders is very entertaining while pouring drinks as well. Wonderful atmosphere, I would recommend this bar to anyone. If I ever make it back to Rome, this will be my first stop :-)

Liked: Nice bar! Our hotel was across the street, and we came here nearly every evening. The staff is very cool and funny. The bar looks a bit strange at first view, but it’s a nice athmosphere there. The peroni beer is quite the best tasting one in italy and it’s very very cheap there!(3,50EUR for a 0,66l bottle) for roman prices. If you like, you can choose between several beers from all over the world, but there a little more expensive ;) Not to forget the cocktails are great and very cheap. You can have nearly every cocktail for 6EUR. Try to get a table outside of the bar. If you stay near castro pretorio check this bar out. It’s the perfect start in a Roma– evening! Disliked: Sometimes they close too early. I think they have no grounded opening hours(they close in between 00:0002:00 depends on the number of guests i think). And girls be warned: the toilet has no seat and it’s unisex(but it’s mostly clean enough)
