I came here every morning(and some post nap afternoons) on our stay in Rome. The gentleman who ran the place didn’t speak much English but was incredibly welcoming every time I came — like I was a regular. Younger woman was better with English the first morning and helped us navigate the ordering. The capachino was delicious… The girls liked the croissants(the crispier type). But generally felt exactly like a local café should feel — homey and local.

Our trip was in June 2015 This is a nice and relaxing restaurant. Its not a tourist location so prices were reasonable and the food selection was plentiful. Its on the same street as the Church of Santa Cecelia approximately 100 feet away. The plate costs $ 9 Euros per person. You get one full plate of all and any of your choices from the buffet counter. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic Italian items to choose from. You do not get to go back for seconds, so make sure you fill your plate. I think that the plate of food each of us had was a great value for the price we paid. Their drinks, coffee, and desserts are all reasonably priced. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and fun to speak to. TIP They do have a restroom so use it before you leave.
