Met was a cool place — in America, you have to trade off quantity with quality, so I usually stay away from buffets because it means lower quality food. Not so in Roma, not so with Met. Came here for a working lunch and despite the heat, a shaded spot outdoors was nice and comfortable. There was a lot of choice for food and I noticed that many were very healthy and light. Lots of vegetables and lean meats. Not heavy on oils and sauces that is in the Italian food I’ve grown up to know about and avoid.
