I have few words to express this dining experience «well put, friendly stuff and delicious food» and will be on my radar for my next Rome visit.

Ein gehobenes Lokal in der Nähe vom Hostel, wo ich übernachtete.
Wichtig: Unbedingt vorher reservieren! Als ich das Lokal mit meiner Familie ohne vorherige Reservierung betrat, mussten sich die Kellner und der Chef erstmal beraten, aber in der «hintersten Ecke» war noch etwas frei. Das Essen ist lecker und allein die Vorspeise macht schon satt — an der Portionierung wird also nicht gespart.
Die Karten gibt es nur auf Italienisch, aber die Kellner können englisch und erklären und übersetzen auch mit viel Geduld. Bei der Rechnung mussten wir den Kellner aber mehrmals daran erinnern, aber der Laden war auch proppenvoll, daher nicht so wild :-)

Heard good things about this restaurant so was so disappointed! The staff were unfriendly and our waiter had a cold and sniffed the entire time — not good! The food was good however but for me a good restaurant delivers not only good food but a good service too!

It’s in a less-​touristy part of Rome, so you know it’s not one of those restaurants that exist solely because it’s near a landmark. This one exists for the amazing food. We got the mozzarella cheese for a starter, and I’ve never tasted such a fresh, delicious cheese! I can’t even find the words to describe how amazing something as simple as cheese could be. The pizzas were incredible as well, so was the tiramisu. Everything was so fresh and well-​prepared, and service was great. A bit pricey, but worth it to get an amazing dinner in Rome.

I got good and lost in Rome, then found the first place that looked appealing. This is where I ended up, and I couldn’t be happier. I had their signature dish (clams and mussels on spaghetti), and it was insanely good. I was floored by the flavor in their noodles. I also had a Birra Moretti Grand Cru, which was surprisingly good. It was around 24 Euro for me to eat and drink a 750ml bottle of excellent beer. Service and atmosphere were great, and I will certainly be back. I can’t say enough about this place.

Eine kleine Pizzeria und Weinbar in der Via Varese. Gerichte zu mittleren bis gehobenen Preisen die aber an manchen Ecken der Gerichte nicht ganz dem Image des Ladens entsprechen!
Optisch aber sehr gut aufgemacht, waren doch bei den Fleischstücken die einen oder anderen Fettanteile bzw. Knorpel im Munde.
Wasser 2,00, geröstetes Brot 4,90 (kann man drauf verzichten, dann bekommt man normales Weißbrot), Antipasti Fischplatte 16,00 Euro, Steacks 16,90 Euro.
Ein Abend zu zweit kommt da locker auf über 60,00 Taler!
Alles in allem aber stilvoll und lecker!
Probiert es einfach mal aus!
