We were looking for a restaurant near our hotel for a low-​key New Year’s Eve. This underrated place in the middle of a residential neighborhood was just the thing for us. Our hosts were so gracious, explaining each item as it came out. They had a special menu, most of which we did not recognize so we were surprised with each course! They specialize in seafood, which we had not had much of during our Italian visit. The squid was exquisite as was the risotto with scampi. This multicourse meal was a bargain for 55 euro per person which included the several bottles of lovely wine we consumed throughout the meal.
