I was staying right above this restaurant, so on one of those nights we were too tired to venture out we ate here and LOVEDIT. The food was incredible. Service was great, they explained everything and were very patient with us. The pork tasted amazing, it was juicy and full of flavors. I recommend this place to everyone traveling to Rome.

Getting kind of lost in Rome after looking for the Pantheon, we stumbled across this place. Walking in, you could see the hanging meats, sundried tomatoes and even chiles on the wall! It’s a small and cozy place with a coat rack in the front for everyone to share and also little hooks at your table too for your purse and other goods to hang. The front counter has a whole entire front piece made out of corks and also a stool that reminds me of a cork from champagne! We saw they had a wooden board of appetizers so we ordered the apetite, which also comes with a glass of wine I think up to 5 € and not sure if it’s only one glass if there’s 2 people sharing it. I ordered a glass of prosecco and him, a glass of red. The wooden board came with 3 types of hard cheeses, salami, prosciutto, crispy pork skin/grins, slices of pork, sliced carrots, artichoke, sundried tomato, some other pickled vegetable, 2 pieces of toasted bread with a truffle sauce on top. It also had a paper bag of additional sliced bread to eat with the platter. It was such a good variety and everything had at least 2 pieces of everything to share! The crispy pork skin was really good as well as the slices of pork, yum! They are heated so eat those first if you have Em! Service is great and they explain everything to you the best they can, despite the language barrier.

Amazing. My wife and I came here randomly and liked the décor because it reminded us of our time in Brooklyn. We were met by the kind chef. My wife had he eggplant with Parmesan and I had the Ragu lasagna, both had an explosion of flavor and freshness that was unparalleled, even for the wonderful culinary capital of Rome. The salad he created for us with cheese, pears, tomatoes, arugula, and artichoke hearts was divine, we finished everything, however left little room for dessert unfortunately. Best meal of all time. Hyperbole aside, it’s worth every penny and I would check this place out for either apertifos or dinner.
