It is not the best restaurant in Rome, it is not the best restaurant around the Vatican… but the food is great, the service is excellent and the price is good (except for the desserts, which killed a bit my bill… but this was an aftermath of our gluttony).
To me this is the typical restaurant where you will be always satisfied.

How can I review a restaurant that accepted us before opening time, then fed us so much antipasti that we had no room for primi, secondi or dessert?
He was helping us as we were obviously tired after a long day sight seeing, so brought out 3 peoples serves of antipasti. This included salami, both mild and chilli, olives, artichokes, buffalo mozzarella, grilled chicken tidbits, bruschetta, ham and an air cured ham as well as haloumi and meatballs. We drank house white and water. With bread as well, we feasted. All in all € 61.

Great restaurant-​osteria in Rome… Start with the antipasto — best dishes are the saltimbuco and the fresh pasta of the day. Gramma’s cake for dessert was BOMB!
